It is a pity!!!
On 22nd Nov 2006 Monk's Hill Secondary walks into history, the 48 year old had been standing strong on 10~12 Winstedt Road. It was my Alma Mater, i was kinda of shock when i heard the news early this year, i spent my secondary school life there i bleed, pray, sweat, laugh, cry, curse, win, lose, all of this are going to be only memories. A flag lowering ceremony was observed yesterday, Monk's Hill was packed the f*** out... students and yesteryear came back to bid farewell to her.... When i got there, the old Monk's Hill car park was pack HOT! cars. Merc, Evo, BMW, and any rich man cars you can think of, i didn't realise that this Hill moulds out successful MONKSHILLIANS cool right? Below is some pictures of the whole ceremony(Photo courtesy of Sexydragon). Then i start to see some familiar faces teacher and friends. At 6.00pm the ceremony started... the principal started addressing the crowd, teacher's who are retiring came up one by one. The real show finally started, lowering of the school and national flag, after the ceremony everyone went around catching up with their teachers and friends. At least is a happy ending but is a pity that she can't continue moulding Monkshillians. FAREWELL MONK'S HILL.
